Special Recognition for Library Event

The museum service lent The Library a collection of artefacts from Lowbury Hill. With help from local groups, library volunteers and Reading University, The Library hosted a series of events telling the story of the Roman occupation of this hill in the Berkshire Downs.

The poster opposite is in recognition of their efforts to bring the subject alive and present it to the community at the library. 

Although we didn't win, the library earned special recognition in this very competitive category.
